Film Production

All of these videos were what I have made at my previous College. During my time at College, I was taught various techniques in various forms of media such as music videos, short films, graphic narratives, and factual programs and how they reach their audience while being entertaining. My personal favorite is the Animation unit which, although challenging, was a great experience and was possibly my best work in my entire time at College; click here to see the animation I have made. This page is to show my diversity in various forms of media such using the camera, direction, and editing (which explains why the bloopers are on this page).

This was the music video for my final unit at my previous college. I wanted to try to make up for the short film and music video units that didn't turn out as well as I hoped. So I decided to make a combination of the two, a music video with a strong narrative.

Although not my best work, I'm still proud that I managed to put this together by myself, with help from actors and suggestions from others during production.

I wanted to do Ed Sheeran's Supermarket Flowers for I liked the song for it's simple but emotional structure.

This is possibly one of the most realistic tasks we have done for we are working for official clients who are part of BBC Voices. We were given a brief to do a factual program about a hidden place in Norfolk, so my group has decided to do a short factual program about David Wall, a classic and vintage car restorer. Our clients were pleased with the video and would put the video on their website.

This project was done at a riding stable and I wanted to get an insight into what life is like for those working and those who ride there. This was done as a five-minute documentary using the techniques that are used in the media industry.

This video is the censored version of the bloopers I have decided to make for fun. My main inspiration for this are the various compilation videos on Markiplier's channel with the humorous parts from lets plays with animated subtitles. I personally like this for I had creative freedom and there were a few moments I wanted to make comedic.

This was my edit of a short film I made with a group, called Hacker. This was to try to tell a compelling narrative using professional camera techniques and dialogue. Although this isn't my best project, I am proud of the editing and the effect I did with the camera.
I am planning to do a short film hybrid project in the future.

This video was the very first task we have done at college as an intro task. This video was a 2-minute recreation of the interrogation scene from Christopher Nolan's: The Dark Knight. My role in this was to play as the Joker, inspired by Heath Ledger's performance, so I tried to learn his performance using an online tutorial (since I don't want to seal myself in a hotel room for 4 straight days) and put my own makeup on.
